Mark Ochoa was amazing! He came over to our home to help diagnose a mysterious leak but also was able to fully descale our water heater and replace the internals from a toilet that was giving us some trouble. He was very patient in answer all our questions and the work was really well done. This is the 2nd time we've used Gene Johnson and would happily recommend them to anyone.

Our technician arrived promptly the morning after we called, he figured out our problem in a short amount of time and then arranged to come out the next day and replace our failed pressure relief valve. We messaged our neighborhood WhatsApp group to see if others noticed increased water pressure. Hugo went above and beyond when he went to our neighbors to test their water pressures to see if they had issues. Some did. I’m sure it will lead to follow on work. He was courteous and efficient. We are happy with his work.

Needed to replace bathtub faucet from leaking. It was looking like I would need to replace the surround on my tub because of old style fixtures and molding on the surround. The guy had the same type fixtures on truck, which normally would take a couple of weeks to get in, as I was also told by another company. Had job done that day. The guys did a fantastic job. They explained everything they were doing and even saved me some money. I would highly recommend.

Twice I needed fast plumbing repairs. Expensive perhaps, but great quality. My builder grandfather taught me that the pain of shoddy work lasts much longer that the thrill of a cheap price. Gene Johnson left textbook quality work.

Service tech. Justen did such a fantastic and quick job changing out my water heater. At First he came out for a bid. I said ok and Justen got right into getting the old tank ready to remove/went and got new tank with parts. Was done ✔️ in 3 hours total. Very impressive.

Austin did an awesome job on my gas water heater replacement! He also replaced my main water valve shut off. His work was top notch. Austin explained what he would be doing and went over his work when he was done. He cleaned up the area once his work was completed - just beautiful! I would highly recommend Austin and Gene Johnson for your plumbing needs! Thanks Austin - appreciate your hard work!!

5 stars – Daniel (PS - Daniel Fadzl - MW) came out to fix a boiler issue at my home today, and he did an outstanding job! The boiler had a problem, but he diagnosed it quickly, repaired it efficiently, and had everything back to safe and normal operation in just 2.5 hours. Daniel was professional, knowledgeable, and thorough—everything was handled carefully to ensure safety. I’m really happy with the service and relieved to have heat working perfectly again. Thank you, Daniel, for taking great care of my home! Highly recommend him and Gene Johnson to anyone needing reliable plumbing/heating help in Seattle.

Darius came out today to deal with our toilet repair issue. This company has great communication, quick response time, and although I was not expecting a repair expense at this time I felt it was a fair price for what was needed. Darius is courteous, professional and just a fantastic person. Very respectful of our place, fixed what was needed and left it clean and tidy. This is the second time I needed Gene Johnson Plumbing for our house and I highly recommend them for yours. Cheers.

I have always had excellent experiences with Gene Johnson Plumbing. Today, Andrew came out to fix my tankless water heater. He was very knowledgeable, professional, conscientious, and a pleasure to work with. He went above and beyond to do a thorough job to ensure all aspects of my problem were fixed properly. Andrew explained everything to me clearly and was very willing to answer all of my questions. Scheduling was easy and the ladies on the phone were friendly and helpful. I appreciated that they were able to send someone out expeditiously. This is the third time I've used Gene Johnson Plumbing and I have always been very happy with their service. Highly recommend them!

He was literally sweating and did everything in his power to resolve a very difficult toilet clog. I have honestly never met a more honest, hardworking plumber than Mike K. What stood out most was that he was determined to get the job taken care of today for Mike K — it was about doing the right thing. He thoroughly explained all the options, called his supervisors when he had questions, and approached everything with professionalism, integrity, and care. Mike K truly went above and beyond.
